Cactus was started by one guy with the same mission. This story started 8 years ago.

Marcelino founded Hernandez AC and Heat in Dallas with a simple mission: deliver dependable HVAC service in an industry that often felt prickly and untrustworthy. From the start, our focus was on same-day service, transparent pricing, and quality that kept homes comfortable in the Texas heat .

As the team grew and customer feedback rolled in, it became clear that while our service was top-notch, our name didn’t fully capture the vibrant, resilient spirit of the Texas Southwest. Clients admired our reliability, but we wanted a brand that reflected warmth, toughness, and a touch of local charm.
